Primary Purpose:
Work Performed:
The Cosmetologist will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Demonstrate an understanding of universal safety and procedural precautions when providing services;
Provide excellent customer relation skills and take care of the guests per the established service standards and Atrium’s Core Vales;
Demonstrate the highest level of product knowledge, to include product ingredients as well as their benefits to the client;
Educate guests about proper nail, hair and make-up care;
Customize treatments based on guest requests, suggesting and recommending products for use following their service (as part of retail sales program);
Create client cards with treatment notes for future reference;
Complete commission/hours/tips sheet and turn in on assigned dates to the Spa Supervisor
Thoroughly clean all equipment on a daily basis and or after each treatment; and
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and
Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Prior related work experience
Preferred Prior Experience:
2 years previous salon and nail service experience
Work experience in hotel/resort environment
Preferred Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses/ Certification:
Current State License of Cosmetology
Physical:
Able to lift a minimum of 30lbs frequently
Able to bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
