Facilities Operations Specialist, under general supervision, coordinates and monitors routine, preventative, and planned facility maintenance, including mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial, and landscaping to ensure each building is a comfortable and safe facility for faculty, staff, students, and guests. The facilities operations specialist will serve as the on-site project liaison, as you would provide meaningful communication, training and development, and education to our end users. Â

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of facilities and/or project management experience in a medical setting.Â

Starting Salary: Â $71,250

This position is located in Houston, TX. Remote/Work from alternate location is not available at this time. Candidate must be available for on-call duties as needed.Â

QualificationsÂ
Required Education and ExperienceÂ
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field such as Facility Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Â
Four years of related experience in facility management, project management and quality assurance.Â
Two years of related facilities or project management experience in a medical setting.Â
Â
Preferred Qualifications Â
Experience working in a medical teaching/research facility or hospital.
Familiar knowledge with facility/construction management software including AggieWorks, AiM, e-Builder and Desigo.Â
Familiar knowledge with TAMU facility/ construction management and design protocols.Â
