Wage: $22-$30/hour
Shift: Night Swing Shift
Hours: 6pm-6am; 2 on, 2 off and every other weekend
QPS Employment Group is working with a busy company in Independence to fill a DIRECT HIRE Maintenance Tech position! Allow QPS to help you get your foot in the door to be a full-time employee on day one and start receiving the excellent benefits package this company offers!
Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Remove defective parts and fabricate repair parts as necessary
- Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate maintenance actions and needs
- Input data into the CMMS system to track downtime and inventory needs
- Lead improvement projects to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime
- Enforce all safety policies, practices, and procedures within the department
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Maintenance Tech Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
