TRC Talent Solutions has a direct hire opportunity for a Collections Manager in Irving, TX!
The Collections Manager will assist in establishing call center objectives, improving performance and processes to better support customers and mitigate loss.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, coaching and leading collections representatives as they provide support for customers
- Direct the operations of the Collections department including the management and ownership of all staff members, vendors, systems and resources
- Manage processes to minimize delinquency, repossession, and related charge-offs while maintaining a high-quality customer service experience
- Ensure efficient and effective collection methods in line with the company's goals and expectations
- Develop and manage relevant policies and procedures
- Create, monitor, and manage all reporting including delinquency, charge-off, trends, first payment defaults and other relevant measures
- Make autonomous decision on loan workouts, payment plans, and repossession order within established policies and procedures
- Maintains knowledge of all local, state, and federal laws/regulatory requirements related to functional areas including repossession, bankruptcy, SCRA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other credit compliance laws
- Prepares and maintains the annual budget for the Collections department
Requirements and Experience:
- Experience in collections management with a background in collateral or asset management is preferred
- Strong coaching and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Experience with reporting and documentation in a collections environment
