Role Overview: We are looking for a strategically minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team during a period of rapid expansion. You will be a critical partner to our leadership team, providing the data-driven insights needed to scale our footprint, optimize our service mix (boarding, daycare, and grooming), and ensure every new location reaches profitability quickly. Key Responsibilities: Operational FP&A & Performance Management: Lead the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast processes, ensuring accuracy as the business scales. Partner with Operations to track and optimize the Labor Cost Percentage, aiming for the industry benchmark of 25%–50% of revenue. Monitor and report on high-impact KPIs: Occupancy Rate (target 80%+), Average Revenue Per Client (ARPC), and Dog-to-Staff Ratios. Hyper-Growth Modeling & Expansion Support: Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate new site viability, including pro-forma P&Ls for potential acquisitions or new builds. Analyze "speed of occupancy ramp" for new locations to predict cash flow needs and break-even timelines. Strategic Insights & Unit Economics: Conduct deep-dive analyses into service-line profitability (e.g., boarding vs. daycare packages vs. add-on enrichment services). Identify opportunities for margin improvement through pricing strategies and upselling initiatives. Evaluate Marketing ROI and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) vs. Lifetime Value (LTV) to guide growth spend. Process Automation & Reporting: Establish and automate weekly "Flash Reports" and executive dashboards to provide real-time visibility into multi-unit performance. Refine financial policies and internal controls to maintain data integrity during rapid scaling. Other Duties: Work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and accounting teams Gather and validate data from multiple systems and sources Create and present findings to stakeholders QualificationsQualifications: Experience: 2+ years of experience in Finance or FP&A, ideally in multi-unit retail, hospitality, or pet services. Technical Skills: Mastery of Excel and proficiency with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or specialized pet-care software. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred. Soft Skills: Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced "start-up" environment and communicate complex data to non-financial stakeholders (e.g., Facility Managers). Why This Role?
