Position Summary:

The Lead Vascular Sonographer is responsible for the daily operations of the Vascular Laboratory including performance and supervision of vascular testing, ordering supplies, fiscal management, addressing issues with staff and customers, staff scheduling, performance improvement, staff training and regulation compliance.  The department serves pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.  Oversees the process for the IAC Vascular Accreditation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or Associate Degree in a Health Care related field with at least one year of full time vascular experience.
     
Required Certification:
A.R.D.M.S. Registry or equivalent credential.

Other:
Technical experience performing all procedures offered by the Vascular Laboratory Department.
