Meek's Lumber, a Division of US LBM is seeking Lumber Yard Forklift Operator to join their team in Joplin, MO!
Schedule: M - F 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wage: $15 - 17 an hour
How you will spend your day as a Yard Associate Forklift Operator:
- Operate forklift to load, unload or stack materials.
- Assist in keeping the yard and inventory in a neat, clean, orderly condition with all lumber and materials neatly stored and accessible.
- Assist in counting, unloading, and stacking incoming lumber or materials in a neat and readily accessible manner.
- Receive incoming materials.
- Assist driver in evaluating delivery site, noting potential hazards and obstacles.
- Assist delivery driver as a shingle hand and placing bundles throughout roof.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations and take prompt corrective action concerning any potential safety hazard.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
