The Oncology Nurse Navigator functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for Oncology by assisting patients, their families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers and facilitate timely access to quality hematology/oncology care management and psychosocial care from pre-diagnosis through all phases of the cancer experience. He/she will serve as a liaison throughout the facility and in coordination with other community organizations.

EDUCATION
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years’ acute care nursing experience including the oncology population or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current Washington State RN License and BLS required. Chemotherapy and biotherapy provider card required within six (6) months of hire. Oncology certified nurse preferred.

Wage Scale: $31.73 - $45.09
