Warehouse Attendant Starting at $16/hour + shift premium – Night Shift

Job Summary:

In addition to performing tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another. As the Clamp Lift Operator/Material Handler, you will need to be extremely careful not to damage the goods and position them accurately.

Schedule:

Modified Shifts: 34.5/46 hours
Back Half Nights (BHN)

• BHN:    8pm – 8am: Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night and e/o Saturday night
• Overtime pay is time and a half after working 40 hours within the work week. Shift premium: $1.00 for working 2^nd shift, 3^rd shift and overnight shifts.

Essentials Duties:

• Move paper, printing materials and other products to and from the Warehouse to the Press Line or the Bindery Department.
• Load and unload trucks.
•  Inspect and maintain equipment daily.
• Use a handheld bar code scanner.
• Use of a Slitter Machine.
• Track inventory and complete warehouse tally sheets indicating material weight, size and number of skids.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
• Must work well with others.
• Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions.
• Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.
• The ability to work up to 10-to-12-hour shifts.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Base knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing while setting up and operating equipment 
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
