Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Team Lead will perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.  Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.  Accepts and embodies the role of leader at the point of care delivery. Maintains a focus on care and service to patients and families.  Evaluates, coaches and counsels the team members assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a School of Nursing Program Required.
  • Associate’s Degree required. Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Nursing is Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
  • Experience in an acute care facility preferred
  • Current license as a RN in New Mexico or compact license state.
