Position Summary:
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the Nurse Residency program and maintaining the ANCC Certification for Transition to Practice.
- Responsible for the Medical Assistant Development program and the continuation of partnerships with other LPNT remote sites.
- Serves as a resource person to staff and management.
- Participates in performance improvement activities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree is required. Graduate of a School of Nursing program. Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree is preferred.
- Current license as an RN in New Mexico or compact license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Required certifications must be obtained through a MMCLC approved program.
- Current clinical experience.
- 3 years minimum experience in Acute Care required. 5 or more years of experience preferred.
- A minimum of three years experience as a Clinical Instructor preferred.
