Rate: $45 – $52/hour
Positions Type: Temporary, multi-year contract
Jefferson Wells is seeking highly qualified Internal Auditors for an upcoming multi-year project in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities include auditing cash controls, performing onsite visits to multiple locations within Las Vegas, testing and workpaper preparation, and reporting and issue remediation.
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise and Internal Audit Risk Assessments
- Audit Planning and Project Management
- Process and Control Reviews
- Testing and Workpaper preparation
- SOX and Financial Audits
- Operations Audits
- Compliance Audits
- Cash Handling
- Reporting and Issue Remediation
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting or finance-related major from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
- 5+ years’ Internal Audit experience
- Experience handling cash
- Data Analytics experience a plus
- Intermediate MS Excel capabilities
- Experience with TeamMate and/or AuditBoard or equivalent
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal communication skillsÂ
- Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement)
- Candidate must complete a governmental background check and finger printing
