RN Short Stay

Position Summary:

 RN provides direct patient care by utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Southwestern Medical Center. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties within the scope of practice of license. Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. 

Position Requirements:

1. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
   1. Must possess a current Registered Nurse License for the State of Oklahoma
   2.  BLS within 30 days of hire
   3. PALS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
   4. NIH Stroke by end of Clinical Nursing Orientation

1. Education:      

Graduate from an accredited professional nurse program (diploma, ADN, BSN).

1. Experience:

Minimum of one year clinical nursing.  Minimal one year PACU experience required.
