Description

Southwestern Medical Center is a 198-bed facility. Our BHS campus holds 92 of the 198 beds with an Adult Unit, Children’s Unit, Adolescent Unit, Intake, Outpatient Clinic, and Main Campus. Role Responsibilities

  • Behavioral Health Staff Registered Nurse holds a shift accountability to provide direct patient care by utilization of the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.

Qualifications

 LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION :

  • Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the State of Oklahoma
  • Current BCLS/Pediatric First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire
  • MAB (Managing Aggressive Behavior) within 30 days of hire
  • NIH Stroke within 30 days of hire
  • OK R&R within 30 days of hire
  • Valid Drivers License issued by the State of Oklahoma (if applicable)

     EDUCATION:

  • Graduate from an accredited professional nurse program
