Manpower Engineering seeking an Automation Engineer with strong Level 2 experience to join the Project Engineering team for our client in the Owensboro, KY area. Contract-to-perm hire. Per diem available for contract phase.

Summary of Job Duties:

Focus will be Level 2 Automation development and implementation (Siemens WinCC, Rockwell SCADA and HMI Applications).

Use of IBA data acquisition/recorder
General networking support (set IP addresses and subnet)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related engineering field.
Strong Level 2 Automation experience. The candidate should have the ability to conceptualize, detail and implement Level 2 control systems for industrial machinery and functional knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems.
Experience with as many of the following SCADA systems helpful: Siemens WinCC, Rockwell, PI, Wonderware
Ability to look at/modify any of the following languages is beneficial: C#, C++, C, HTML, JavaScript, VBA, PHP
Knowledge of IBA data acquisition/recorder would be nice.
General networking knowledge is helpful to handle issues on the floor (understand default gateway, know how to set IP addresses and subnet)
