HOURS:  Day Shift (7am-7pm) actual schedule is based on the department needs.

PRIMARY (ESSENTIAL) DUTIES

  1. Delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of patient care by using the nursing process of assessment, expected outcome identification, intervention, and evaluation of care.
  2. Demonstrates knowledge and/or proficiency in the management and delivery of patient care in assigned area of clinical practice.
  3. Participates in patient/family education and discharge planning activities and assures family involvement.
  4. Integrates culture, beliefs, value systems of individuals.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years previous ICU experience
  • Associate of Science degree in nursing (ASN)
  • Current license in the state of Idaho, or licensure eligible
  • BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center
  • ACLS - within 3-months of hire (to be assigned by the Learning Center
  • NIH Stroke within 3-months of hire
