  • This company submitted a sample to answer platform to the FDA and are waiting on approval. If they receive feedback and need to make changes to the product, the R&D Associate will be assisting with making the changes to the product.
  • The R&D Associate will be putting the sample into a cartridge and waiting 2 hours for a result to determine if the sample carries a yeast based illness, to make changes they will be working with dilutions and concentrations.
  • If the product submitted to the FDA gets approved right away, the R&D Associate will be working on 5 other extraction platforms including EMAG, QIAsymphony, KingFisher Flex, Roche Magna Pure, and BioPerfectus to extract material used in downstrea testing, as well as performing general lab cleaning, and supporting scientists with general tasks.

This position is a guaranteed 3 months of gaining valuable industry experience, and will likely extend to 6 months or the end of year 2024.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science
  • Experience using pipettes
