Order Selector - $18. 25 per hour - First Shift
Required: Must pass a drug screen and a multi-state background review
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Compensation: Based on experience, standard hourly pay is $18.00 - $18.50. $27.00 - $27.75 overtime pay
Full-Time Position: Work 4, 10-hour days. Shifts: (1) Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, OR (2) Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

As a warehouse staff member, you will report to a warehouse supervisor and be responsible for supporting a variety of duties, including unloading inventory from trailers, putting away, picking, staging, and loading product in trailers. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the cleanliness and sanitation of the warehouse. To be successful, you will support operations management in driving efficient and accurate movement of products to enable excellent service to the end user. Warehouse staff will also help drive continued innovation at an operation like no other in the food service industry.
Responsibilities
- Product is promptly unloaded into the warehouse and loaded onto outbound trucks according to company policies and weight/loading restrictions
- Product is staged and prepared for efficient loading
- All equipment is safely operated (e.g., forklifts and pallet jacks)
- Food safety standards are maintained throughout the warehouse
- Technology such as scanners are accurately and effectively operated
- Data is entered correctly
- Product is accepted and returned in accordance with company policies
- Work consistently in extreme temperature conditions such as the freezer
- Complete physically demanding work, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving with mechanical assistance up to 2,000 pounds
- Reach, bend, and stoop while performing work
- Work with and handle cleaning chemicals as needed
- Work while standing for several hours at a time
- Wear all appropriate clothing/equipment as required for the task according to the employee handbook and PPE safety requirements
- Manage pressure and conflicting demands; prioritize tasks and workload
- Communicate effectively across stakeholders, including management
- Adapt to change and respond to challenging situations in a professional manner
- Treat all parties with dignity and respect in difficult situations, and maintain a positive, service-focused mindset
- Other duties may also be assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Comfortable working in freezer and cooler environments (appropriate PPE provided)
- 1+ years of order-picking experience required
- 1+ years of electric pallet jack required
- 3 months of reach-truck experience required. Additionally, the cherry picker and clamp truck experience is a real plus!
- Ability to use an RF scanner
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Willing to authorize a drug and background screening (includes screening for THC)
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills; a team player who can work independently when necessary
- A servant leader who puts others before themselves corrects mistakes with authenticity and respects all viewpoints
