Unit Description: The Registered Nurse administers nursing care within the scope of hospital policy and established standards of care and in accordance with the needs and/or wants of each patient. He/she develops and initiates the nursing care plan utilizing the nursing process.
- The Registered Nurse collaborates/cooperates with nursing staff and other hospital/health care disciplines for promotion of health to obtain the optimal level of wellness for patients, family, and community.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
- Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position
- Professional appearance
- Satisfactory references
- BLS required, ACLS for specific departments
On Call: Required
