1st Shift Developmental Chemist Opening!!!

MUST HAVE:

  • BS OR MS in Chemistry
  • API Experience (active pharmaceutical ingredients)
  • GMP experience
  • Method Development and Transfer
  • GC and HPLC
  • Wet Chemistry/Titrations

API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) experience is preferred, but open to someone from a different regulated industry such as Bio Tech or Medical Device industry

Description:

  • The client is slower right now, so this position will split its time between Analytical Development and /Validation of equipment throughout the facility. Method Development, Validation and Transfer are the most important, but when things are slower, the focus would be on the OQ of equipment (Metrology)
  • Work closely with R&D scientists and analytical group to provide accurate analytical results in support of new and ongoing projects
  • Work with supervision to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Perform release testing of raw materials, stability study samples, and method validation, and method transfer activities for APIs.
  • Design and initiate development of analytical methods and improvement of existing ones, to support all stages of API (active pharmaceutical ingredient).
  • Evaluate and interpret scientific data and provide the significance of such with supervision
  • Assist in the design and execution of non-routine experiments with supervision
  • Analyze data/results and interpret the outcome of experiments and to propose appropriate follow-up with supervision
  • Write project documentation (Analytical test methods, developmental reports and protocols) of medium complexity.
  • Embrace cGMP requirements for all work associated
  • Calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical equipment.
