Job Description:
- As the Driver Helper, Employees will be responsible for riding along with the truck driver to deliver products to stores/customers. In this role, employees will use a two-wheel dolly to move cases of beer, wine, and liquor into businesses that purchase the product. The most important requirement is that someone knows how to use a two-wheel dolly and can carefully but quickly move the product.
- The person in this position will also have to interact with customers receiving the product.
- Additionally, it will be required that the person in this position helps the driver complete product checks, ensures they have the correct routes and order slips for each customer, and assists in setting up displays at various stores.
- They will report directly to the driver and are expected to follow their instructions.
- The position will require employees to lift typically around 50lbs, but sometimes more.
Qualifications
- Ideally 6+ months of warehouse, general labor, or working in a physical environment
- Comfortable being in front of customers, providing a strong customer experience
- Must be able to lift 45-65lbs. in additional to bending/ pulling/ twisting
- Comfortable working overtime (Sometimes you can get done early/ sometimes you will have to work past 5pm)
- Must be comfortable sitting in a Truck for long periods of time between deliveries
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift: Tuesday through Friday
- 7:00am to 5:00pm But do not anticipate to be done at 5pm every day!!!
- Pay: $20.00 an hour
- The shift could go longer or shorter depending on the route. This position depends on how quickly the job is done
