Development Chemist II 

Our client, one of the most important companies in the chemicals Industry, is seeking a Development Chemist II. 

Job Title: Development Chemist II 
Location: MONROEVILLE, Pennsylvania 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment to prescribed instructions in PPG’s OLED kilo lab to complete various stages of chemical processing. 

- This will include heating and cooling reactors, operating pumps and vacuum pumps for chemical transfers, distillations, filtrations and drying  

- Follow batch sheet instructions to produce products  

- Document operations and results for kilo lab batches  

- Interface with process development chemists and technicans on a regular basis to advance product development 

Requirements 

  • Associate or bachelors degree in a science (chemistry, biology, etc) related field required.  

  • 3+ years of experience in chemistry/manufacturing laboratory.
