Human Resources Generalist - $55,000 + Benefits

$50,000 to $55,000 (based on experience) plus benefit package
Full-time and on-site. Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Role Description
Responsible for managing HR policies and procedures, employee benefits administration, and HR management on a day-to-day basis
Duties/Responsibilities:
路 Reviews and documents compliance for training, continuing education, and work assessments
路 Recruits and facilitates the hiring of job applicants for open positions
路 Conducts background checks and other verifications
路 Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
路 Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
路 Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
路 Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
路 Excellent verbal and written communication,聽interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
路 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
路 Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
路 Proficiency with聽 learning the organization鈥檚 HRIS and talent management systems
路 Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
路 Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization鈥檚 facilities
Education and Experience:
路 Two years HR experience required
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in HR, BA, or related field required
路 One year of HR聽 management experience preferred
路 Employee Benefits expertise, including benefits administration
路 Experience in manufacturing or food service industry is a plus
