Seeking a laboratory technician to join a growing consumer product organization!
Description:
The Laboratory Technician position is an integral role within the organization. Will be responsible to run the testing equipment related to nonwoven products, create and analyze data. Candidate will be a part of rapidly changing testing environment and will be required to participate in identifying new test methods, product properties, raw material improvements and new test equipment. The position requires doing extensive and repetitive testing to help to understand the properties of the current, proposed and competitive materials and help to prove concepts and claims for these products.
- Analyzing samples - raw materials, in-process and finished product.
- Maintain and operate instrumentation.
- Maintain quality records providing accurate and appropriate documentation.
- Will be working with a variation of household cleaners and body care products.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry (Required)
- 1 year or more experience within a chemical lab setting
- Physical, textile, material testing experience
- Partnership Skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally, communicate effectively and work as part of a team to achieve objectives
- Ability to problem solve if issues arise and propose potential solutions
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds , testing will include slosh box testing (lifting drums of water)
