Actalent is currently partnering with a laboratory in the Nashville area in need of a Lab Assistant to join their team. Please see below for details and qualifications!
Description:
- Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Scan and data entry of specimen and patient information
- Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
- Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
- Replenish test bench supplies as needed
- Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical/lab or production experience is preferred
- Comfortability with handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify specimens
- Must pass a standardized color blindness test

- Entry Level
- Multiple shifts available
- $16-17/hr, BOE
