Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performance of the following functions relating to the processing equipment used in the processing operation of the plant with general instructions from supervisor: Preventive maintenance; Routine maintenance and repairs; Electrical repairs.
- Documentation of maintenance and repair work
- Assist with facility maintenance, as needed.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Â
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.Â
- Align and balance new equipment after installation. Â Â
Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High manual dexterity and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software necessary for laboratory work.
- Very well organized and able to work independently.
- Good communications skills.
- Understanding of electric appliances and wiring, able to install, fix and maintain electric wiring
- Manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
