Resident Experience Coordinator - Memory Care

Inspīr Senior Living, Maplewood Senior Living’s new brand of world-class, urban senior living properties, is now hiring Porters for its new Inspīr Carnegie Hill property. Inspīr Carnegie Hill is located on the Upper East Side and stands 23 stories with 215 residential units. It offers assisted living, enhanced care and memory care with a unique and innovative Integrated Care Model. Resident Experience Role:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all residents and visitors of residents in the community

  • Facilitate socialization among residents by creating, developing and implementing innovative programs/activities for residents

  • Responsible for inviting and/or cuing residents to participate in planned activities by formulating and implementing innovative methods for resident outreach

  • Conduct and/or lead a majority of the programs, and alternatively, ensure appropriate personnel is leading the program

  • Assist Director and Associate Director in administrative tasks as needed to ensure continued functioning of department

  • Be flexible in work schedule to accommodate special events and evening/weekend programs

  • Assists with the implementation of special events

  • Assists with family functions and events

  • Identify supplies needed for planned experienced

  • Participate in on-going in-service and training requirements

  • Follow emergency procedures

  •  Understand and comply with all Inspīr safety practices and procedures

  •  Carries out other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Serve as model and leader to Resident Experience Specialists by assisting Specialists on a daily basis with skill building and clinical techniques

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Experience in activity planning and coordination with seniors preferred
  • Experience and interest in working with seniors
  • Must be creative, organized and innovative
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Mature, pleasant, friendly, and cheerful personality
