Investment Banking Analyst

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Provides support to senior bankers across a broad range of transactions.

  • Responsible for preparing client presentations for use in transactions or strategic client dialogue.

  • Building and using financial models and other financial analysis.

  • Performing detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analysis.

  • Assist senior team on client coverage initiatives.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Being responsible for monitoring and evaluating current events, valuation and other financial information for companies.

  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.


Work Experience:

  • Business Banking Relationship Manager role, related business lending experience, Investment Banking experience , and/or relevant education, 3-5 years


Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of business products and services

  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to develop strong customer and colleague relationships

  • Local market knowledge and the ability to develop, retain and expand relationships with Centers of Influence

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment
