About The Position
 Experienced Urology Surgeon needed for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This 15-day opportunity, starting 08/11/2025, involves working at a hospital providing comprehensive urological care. The weekly schedule includes 3 days of office visits, 1 day in the operating room, and 1 day dedicated to cystoscopy procedures. Call coverage is required Monday through Thursday, with minimal callbacks expected. The role encompasses a range of general urology procedures, excluding radical surgeries. DaVinci robotic experience is preferred but not required. This position offers weekends off, no weekend call, and requires an active New York medical license.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive urological care in both office and hospital settings
• Perform general urology procedures, excluding radical surgeries
• Conduct cystoscopy procedures
• Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
• Utilize DaVinci robotic system for applicable procedures (if experienced)
• Provide on-call coverage Monday through Thursday
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using eClinicalWorks and Meditech EHR systems
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Ensure adherence to all hospital policies and procedures
• Stay current with the latest developments in urological care and surgical techniques
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in New York
• Board certification in Urology required
• Experience with DaVinci robotic system preferred but not mandatory
• Proficiency with eClinicalWorks and Meditech EHR systems a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in both office and operating room environments
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical schedules
• Willingness to provide weekday on-call coverage
