Job Title: Yard Switcher Operator
Location: Newark, NJ
Hours: Sunday-Friday (Off Tuesdays and Saturdays)
- 2nd Shift: 2PM-10:30PM
- 3rd Shift: 10PM-6:30AM
Pay: $19/hr
Description:
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Secures and organizes containers storage yard
- Uses a yard switcher, sit-down forklift, and pickup truck
- Directs drivers picking up and dropping off equipment
- Performs some Gate-Security transactions
- Lifts and relocates improperly parked equipment
- Performs security checks and inventory counts

Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have min 1+ years of Forklift Operating Experience
- Yard switcher or yard jockey experience preferred (or must be open to learning the yard jockey)
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather elements
- Must be willing to submit to Dg/Bckgrd Screening
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must have a valid Driver's License for this role
- Steel-toed Shoes are required for this position
