Description:
ā¢Duties include, but are not limited to:
- reviewing consent forms
- assisting the physician in completing examinations and procedures
- preparing surgical trays for procedures
- ensuring all medications are drawn up as needed
- providing wound care and suture removal instructions to patients
- providing patient education and administering medications as ordered
- ensuring patient follow-up phone calls are made regarding path/lab results and other necessary treatments
- documenting all laboratory or pathology results in patientsā records
- cleaning medical instruments and equipment
- stocking exam rooms with supplies
- returning patient phone calls
ā¢Must comply with OSHA standards regarding PPE (gowns, gloves, safety goggles) when performing surgical procedures and other general patient care
Skills:
Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, surgery, dermatology
Additional INformation:
They are only open 7:30am - 5pm. Monday - Friday.
Close at 4 on Fridays. NO major holidays or weekends. Must be available to work 7:15am -4:30pm.
Scrubs - caribbean blue Monday-Thursday
Any color on Friday
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Medical Assistant experience with derm would be ideal. Surgical experience would also help transition
