The Sa l e s M a n ager I is responsible for leading the sa l e s team to reach sa l e s goals. This position is accountable for coordinating sa l e s and marketing events and meetings. The Sa l e s M a n ager I is responsible for sa l e s volume up to $100 million.
Pay Rate: $110,000 annually
Essential Job Duties
- Responsible for leading the sa l e s team to reach sa l e s targets and revenue objectives .
- Create strategic sa l e s plans to expand customer base.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, as well as coordinate, the division sa l e s and marketing events.
- Research customer needs and identify solution opportunities.
- Coordinate sa l e s m eetings and introduce/promote all new products to division and location leadership and sa l e s representatives.
- Responsible for consistent analysis of profit margin, accounts receivable, and inventory for assigned area of operations.
- Focus on in-depth analysis of purchasing, pricing, inventory control and administrative functions of assigned facilities.
- Work with division purchasing team to develop quotes and promote the multi-family housing business.
- Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum Education required - Bachelor's degree in sa l e s , marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum Experience required - 10 years prior sa l e s experience and construction background required , with knowledge of building materials.
- Special Skills - Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills needed. Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills, sa l e s and marketing expertise and conflict resolution skills.
- Other - Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office products.
- Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, lift up to 50 lbs. on a random basis, standing and walking for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
