Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire American Heart Association
Handle With Care
Licenses: Current Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
Certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training within 30 days of hire- required (Handle with Care)
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
