Seeking a Lead Microbiologist to join a cosmetic's contract manufacturing organization!
Description:
• Conduct audits, validate operating systems and ensure consistent compliance with plant safety and sanitation standards and guidelines.
• Compiled standard operating procedures based on cGMP and HACCP requirements, and established the laboratory in functioning capacity. Performed plant audits with AIB, identify CCP's.
• Respond to problems concerning product quality and contamination in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring ongoing adherence to corporate and government standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and water by environmental plating, tank sampling and swab procedures, ensuring plant sanitation. Also performed hygiene inspections.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in the Sciences
- 5+ years as a microbiologist
- Documentation reviews, OOS investigations, performing audits
- Experience in cosmetics or food manufacturing (Microbiology testing).
