Description:
This role functions as a QC technician working in the warehouse of an aerospace manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. Their primary function is to verify accuracy of basic part dimensions and sizes via hand inspection tools. This role also requires strong use of computer skills to document and verify information.
Will be doing basic Quality Inspection most of the day - 90%
May use micrometers and calipers to do very basic inspections of materials
Monitor internal auditing system
Enter data from final inspections into internal GKN database
Enter data for incoming / receiving shipments from / to Honeywell of engine components
Must be proficient with using Microsoft Office
Must be familiar with UPS, FedEx coding and labeling system
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Quality Inspection - 90% of the day, warehouse/doc control 10%
Use of calipers and micrometers
Basic Shipping & Receiving experience
Aerospace experience ideal but not required
PO and Inventory Tracking (will train)
Intermediate to Advanced computer experience required
