Arizona Building Supply serves the needs of builders, contractors, and homeowners statewide. Arizona Building Supply manufactures truss and wall panel components, and sells a wide range of building materials including lumber, windows, doors, hardware and trim. Additionally, they operate regional home centers located throughout the state, offering a variety of building materials and home improvement supplies.

Position Overview

This position will ins t a l l all t y pes of win d o w products in various applications. The Win d o w Ins t a l l and Service I will take direction from the field supervisor and will follow manufacturer directions and warrant y requirements on all ins t a l l ed products.

Essential Job Duties

  • Follow ins t ru ctions from the field supervisor regarding ins t a l l a t i o n of win d o w materials.
  • Work with other ins t a l l ers to ins t a l l win d o w products as assigned and trained.
  • Follow manufacturer directions and warrant y requirements when ins t a l l ing products.
  • Track time and materials as required for each ins t a l l a t i o n project.
  • Maintain all equipment in good order and report an y malfunctions to field supervisor.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Follow all compan y policies and procedures.
  • Provide qualit y customer service.
  • Attend all training to learn new technolog y of building materials and ins t a l l a t i o n methods as required b y location management.
  • Cross-train in other areas to expand knowledge and expertise .
  • Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results.
  • Compl y with Compan y 's attendance polic y b y maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned b y field supervisor or location Management.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum education required -High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum experience required -1 y ear in ins t a l l ing Win d o w products.
  • Special skills required -Read and use a measuring tape and other required tools for complete ins t a l l a t i o n .
  • Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills and the abilit y to provide and/or follow detailed ins t ru ctions.
  • Ph y sical demands include walking throughout y ar d s, plants and offices. Regularl y lifting 50 pounds and frequentl y lifting up to 100 pounds. Working from tall heights on ladders or in tight spaces.
  • Available for overtime as needed.
