Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrate the mastery of fundamental molecular biology concepts and hands-on technical proficiency of qPCR/FQC genotyping skills.
• Perform high quality bench work and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues.
• Draft SOPs and procedural manuals to ensure quality control processes throughout various FQC workflows.
• Record laboratory documents according to the company guidelines.
• Analyze FQC data and generate reports for client review.
• Maintain the lab instrument in an optimal working condition and perform routine PM.
• Train and support junior team members in executing projects on time.
• Work with vendors for lab supplies and reagents purchase.
• Align with internal and external stake holders to set priorities and goals.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• B.S. degree in life sciences with at least 1-3 years of experience in molecular biology or genomics with sufficient bench experience.
• Ability to work independently to solve technological and analytical problems.
• Experience of working with large data set in LIMS environments/databases
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Team working spirit and good communication skills.
• Effective multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
