Accounting Specialist III

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist III to perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in our East Central accounting department.

*Please note this onsite role can be located out of either our East Liberty or Allentown office.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will prep recurring and non-recurring journal entries for month end close.

  • You’ll complete schedules needed for completion of account reconciliations.

  • You will perform monthly analysis of revenue and expense variances to budget.

  • You’ll be responsible for reviewing transactions to ensure proper general ledger coding, supporting documentation and approval.

  • You’ll perform ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

What You’ll Need: 

  • 1 - 2 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience.

  • Accounting degree preferred, or a combination of education and work experience.

  • 10-key by touch required.

  • Intermediate knowledge on all Microsoft Office software products required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail required and ability to work with different departments within the organization.

  • Experience in business accounting software such as Oracle, Hyperion and SAP helpful.
