Description:
Under the direction of the clinic supervisor, the medical assistant is responsible for the receiving of patients, preparing the patients to be seen by the provider, and assisting the provider as requested in the delivery of care to the patient. The medical assistant works with patients and is knowledgeable with regard to the clinic’s patient education program and provides educational materials to the patient when appropriate. The medical assistant is also responsible for the maintenance of supplies and equipment.

0 + years of experience with Medical Assistant Degree and CertificationOR 3 + years of Medical Assistant experience if they are not certifiedNote: Specialty Clinic/Providers may require specialty experience to be qualified for openings within those clinics.Pay Range: $18 - $27 an hour - $1 increase for CertificationPay scale is based on years of experience,. The pay rate increases 3% per year of applicalbe experience. This is a rough estimate as they look at the internal equity before extending an offer. Note: the highest they will offer at this point is $24.50 plus the $1 cert differential. They are going through a merit/pay scale evaluation so some of these are subject to change in the near future.
