Electrical Engineer

Our client, a prime supplier of hot rolled and hot rolled pickle & oil products out of Portage, IN is seeking a direct hire, Electrical Engineer.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Portage, IN

Pay Range: Up to $135k Base + 10% Bonus 
Able to pay relocation!

What’s the Job?

• Assist in developing the Annual Capital and Major Maintenance plans.
• Interface with plant maintenance and operating personnel and assist in equipment improvements, maintenance and repair.
• Assists in all processes to reduce unscheduled maintenance delays.
• LOTS of growth potential and advancement internally!

What’s Needed?

• 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in a steel mill or heavy industrial manufacturing plant
• Experience with Electric Arc Furnaces is a plus
• Ability to Demonstrate equipment installation and commissioning experience
• Competence and comfort level leading electrical equipment investigations
