Description:
-Preferred warehouse/labor background
-Ability to count accurately
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
Position Summary: This person will be responsible for picking, packing, and stocking items that are received. Items can range from large metal or PVC piping picked with fork-lift, to 30+ small fasteners or endcaps - depending on the phase of the construction project.
Duties:
-Use RF scan gun to locate inventory
-Correctly pick, pack, and pull item type and qty
-Operate pallet-jack, fork-lift, and push cart depending on inventory type
-Organize staging area by priority
-Maintain clean work environment (they may have to sweep and mop)
-Operate computers at will-call booth
-Assist customers (internal and external) in item look-ups, availability, and order placement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-This opening has a focus on receiving experience -Ideally order picking, warehouse, and RF device experience (electronic required) -Either RF or FL experience -Fork-Lift will use after they WDC -English communication -Lift 50 lbs, manuever 100 lbs
