The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides direct and indirect patient care. Â He/she applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Â The Registered Nurse must possess good communication skills and must be able to effectively communicate with physicians, peers, patients and families. Â He/She works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality care is delivered.Â
Active Tennessee RN license or Compact State RN license with the intent to obtain a Tennessee RN license within 30 days of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR current or within 90 days of hire
ACLS current or within 1 year of hire
PALS current or within 1 year of hire
