What You Will Be Doing

• Operate a Hammerhead pool vacuum
• Operate a Maxi-Sweep pool vacuum
• Operate a pressure washer
• Use a pool skimmer
• Operate a cordless drill/screw-gun
• Operate a hammer drill
• Operate pumps (trash pumps, sump pumps, pool pumps)

How You Will Do It

• Inspect and clean pools and water attractions (includes pop jet pads and pods)
• Check the water chemistry (pH, chlorine le-vel, Saturation Index) of any water attraction or pool
• Clean hair and lint strainers for filter and activity pumps
• Power wash pool decks, pop jets pad, and water attraction structures
• Backwash filters as instructed in the Water Technicians Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures
• Help preseason, maintain, and winterize water park, restrooms, food stands and retail locations
• Fulfill all tasks required for Water Technicians (See Water Technician Job Description and Handbook/Standard Operating Procedures)
• Additional tasks may be assigned at the discretion of the management

What You Will Need

• Must have 1-2 years of related experience and be able to work well in team environment.
• Thorough working knowledge of dispensing (liquid) units and fire systems.
• Working knowledge of the plumbing code and industry trends
• Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers and park management in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have tools and equipment to perform required duties and skills as defined above.

Physical Requirements

Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, taste, smell, and may frequently lift and/or move 100 pounds. Specific vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus required. Must possess normal to average corrective hearing.

Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to and in excess of 150ft., crawling and working in confined spaces and lifting up to 100 lbs. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles.

Must possess strong safety sensitivity & ability to work with many different types of devices.

Pay Range: $16.25-$16.50/hr.
