TRC's client is a locally owned business that provides logistics solutions for food distribution nationwide. They are looking for a Logistics and Operations Assistant to join their team on a full-time, temp to hire basis.Â

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain a schedule for upcoming shipments.Â
- Support the head of logistics in managing the transportation of our export shipments.Â
- Make and revise truck cargo dispatches.
- Ensure truckers perform their function on time and per our specifications.Â
- Schedule and provide instructions for warehouse loading of cargo.
- Make and revise ocean line bookings for shipments.Â
- Ensure correct documentation is submitted to the ocean lines associated with vessel loading.
- Support the documents and customer service departments as needed.
- Support frequent rescheduling of shipments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Â
- Experience as a dispatcher or with a trucking company preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to adapt.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
