About the Role:

Supporting sales leaders in the strategic design of their territories. This requires analysis and model building, effective communication and presentations, and a deep understanding of how territories support the achievement of our sales goal.

Responsibilities:

• Pro-actively leads efforts to continuously review territories with sales leaders on a regular cadence
• Gather, analyze, and understand current territories and market data to enable sales strategy development and execution
• Work to identify opportunities and risks that exist in territory management
• Develop SME knowledge of territory data within segment to strategically design territories and scalability
• Work cross-functionally with compensation and finance to ensure alignment for all territory changes
• Partner with stakeholders to orchestrate the design and implementation of the sales quota plan under the annual sales strategy planning cycle (Varicent)
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes

Critical Skills:

• Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights
• Ability to use strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to a wide diversity of people, including technical, business and leadership teams
• Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
• High level of intellectual curiosity
• Experience in finance or sales territory analytics
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, PowerBI
