Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematic drawing, diagrams, blueprints specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine material requirements and assembly instruction
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; install components, units, and wiring using shop tools
- Inspect units for accuracy and quality and work with supervisor to resolve issues
- Assist in maintaining a well-organized assembly area and part inventory/stocking area
- Observe and practice safe working procedures
- Assemble electromechanical components with interconnecting wiring
- Cut, strip, bend, and mount wires to connect panels
- Installs finished assemblies or sub-assemblies into cases or cabinets
- Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and defective materials to shop manager
Requirements for Assembly Technician:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Self-starter with ability to work well within teams and individually
- Strong troubleshooting and quality control skills
- Able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds
