(Entry-Level) Research Associate

Description:

• Conduct a wide range of tests including spectrophotometry, capillary gel electrophoresis, HPLC, and dynamic light scattering.
• Calibrated/accurate lab equipment.
• Sample preparation and instrumental analysis.
• Accurate and timely reported data.
• Personal safety of self and others as well as chemical stewardship.
• Communication with internal customers to ensure testing is performed as requested.
• Complete lab testing accurately and on time as business needs require.
• Alert of any possible instrumentation problems.
• Perform routine maintenance of analytical instrumentation.
• Maintain testing and instrument areas to be in a clean and organized fashion.
• Order supplies in a timely fashion and restock general use supplies as needed.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Academic experience in a lab with one of the following: spectrophotometry, capillary gel electrophoresis, HPLC, and dynamic light scattering.
