Ecolab Formulations Chemistry Lab Technician

Job Description:

• Performs laboratory tests under direct supervision, controls variable conditions and observes and comments on unusual events or departures from prescribed test conditions. Recommends improvement of experimental procedures.
• Measures and prepares test methods and assembles apparatus for conducting laboratory tests.
• Measures test results obtained and records all data accurately and concisely in a laboratory notebook. Assists higher level technical personnel in analyzing and interpreting experimental data. Makes preliminary evaluation on results and recommends acceptance or rejection.
• Maintains stock of laboratory supplies and samples.
• Maintains clean and safe work facility. Perform all research activity with safety as the top priority.
• This position requires knowledge of standard and specialized laboratory equipment and chemical laboratory operations. 

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in applied science or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or biochemistry preferred
