Description:
• At least six months but prefers one year of experience in an acute or sub-acute setting and infant draw/neonatal experience. Hospital experience is a PLUS.
• Experience with pediatrics
• Outpatient (LabCorp, Quest, etc.) setting experience -must be able to draw 45-55 patients within an 8-hour shift
• Inpatient (Hospital) setting experience- must be able to draw 20-30 patients within an 8-hour shift
• Excellent attendance and behavior record. Flexible on shifts and hours
Applicant venipuncture skills and knowledge must already be a given.
- Should have at least minimal experience with neonatal and pediatric draws on actual patients. Heel sticks done only during their phlebotomy class training is unacceptable.
- Must be computer proficient, ideally with prior experience with LIS and cerner.
- Schedule: available between 6am to 11pm every day of the week.
- Must be able to float between Kaiser Zion and SDMC

- CPT 1 License
- Must be computer savvy - must have experience with a lab system (ie Cerner)
