Job Summary:

Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring a Clinical Researcher to join the Innovation and Operational Improvement team.  This role will support growth and innovation opportunities by providing clinical expertise along with up to date research to guide the direction of these activities.  This role is for an individual who has experience working in a clinical setting and also has a passion for research and data gathering related to healthcare challenges and policies.  This individual will use their clinical knowledge and research to stay up to date on CMS, HHS, and public health policies and trends, particularly in rural areas.  This individual with analyze and interpret the research and data to provide key insights and recommendations to guide the strategic direction of the project teams. *remote options will be considered for this role. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities to bring innovation to new and current projects in order to improve healthcare delivery and create efficiencies.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate potential competitors and partners to understand the landscape and provide recommendations on project ideas.
  • Provide strategic direction to clinical innovation campaigns based on clinical experience and research.
  • Incorporate clinical background and experience into recommendations and guidance to the project teams in order to ensure best practices and user experience is considered.
  • Work with the team to define and implement research study and pilot projects that will explore and validate approved innovation initiatives. To include, defining use cases, estimating costs, defining minimum required capabilities, documenting workflows, and identifying potential partners.
  • Prepare materials and briefings to provide progress and status updates for various levels of management and stakeholders.
  • Interact routinely with various levels of management, functional leads, other staff, and customers.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and successfully execute multiple projects concurrently with limited supervision.

  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
  • 1-3 years of practicing RN experience required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.

 

Pay and Benefits:

Salary range - (L2)   $70,000 to $95,000

Other level(s) may be considered:

(L3): 4 to 7 years of experience $90,000 - $120,000
